The scope of this project involved the construction of a new 37,754 square-foot brick, masonry and steel building, a parking lot, landscaping, renovations, and demolitions. The building and parking layout is designed to meet antiterrorism and force protection criteria.

The facility provides space for the MWR Library, Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program, St. Leo College, and the Navy College Program. This project received a Silver Certification for sustainable design elements defined by the LEED Green Building Rating System. The site design resulted in a reduction of impervious area and pollutant loading by 10.5%.

This massive design/build project at the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach renovated 150,000 square feet of operational and administrative facilities, all coordinated with ongoing flight operations on the airfield.

Work included: repairs to more than 750,000 square feet of airfield taxiways and parking apron; additional parking apron modifications to accommodate 28 new Super Flight Line Electrical Distribution System (SFLEDS); the complete interior demolition/renovations to the Hangar 500 maintenance and administrative spaces; refurbishing of the hangar doors and the repainting of the interior and exterior of Hangar 500; construction of 3 new Secure Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) facilities.
